Inference / Comprehension
Noosa Tutoring Centre recognises that language is inferential. Students need to:
- Understand the concept of inference.
- Identify the inferences from text.
- Explain inferences both verbally and in written form.
The challenging standards demanded by Secondary and Senior School as well as NAPLAN require a high level of understood inferred meaning. Therefore this becomes a very important comprehension skill for all students.
