Specialist tutoring programs for every stage of learning — from early childhood through to senior school and adult education, by qualified teachers.
Noosa Tutoring Centre has experienced staff and highly qualified teachers who tutor students in a friendly environment, semi-private sessions. Programs are specialised to suit each student’s needs.
Our programs operate with the guidance of our parent company in Sydney — a company with over 20 years of proven success in tutoring.
Ages 3½ — Prep

Early Years Programs

Give your child the very best start — building foundational skills before and during their first years of school.
Ages 4 – 6

Prep 4 Prep — School Readiness

A 2-hour school readiness program for 4–6 year olds, run by highly qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Maximum 4 students per group, Prep4Prep combines structure and fun to give children a confident start.
  • Alphabet recognition and counting
  • Reading, writing, language and number
  • Structured environment, maximum 4 to a group

Starting school is a big step. Children who begin with strong foundations in the basics settle in faster, make friends more easily, and feel confident from day one. Before starting Prep, children benefit from being able to
  • Use fine and gross motor skills for everyday tasks like holding a pencil, using scissors, and moving with coordination
  • Recognise letters, numbers and how books work
  • Speak in complete sentences and express their ideas clearly
  • Remember instructions and draw on a growing general knowledge of the world around them

Primary School Programs

Our primary programs offer new and exciting opportunities that focus on reading, writing, comprehension and numeracy — tailored to every individual child.
Whether your child needs remedial support, is working to consolidate current knowledge, or is ready to accelerate ahead of their year level, we have a program that fits.

Literacy Tutoring

Individualised intensive reading tutoring that turns non-readers into confident readers. Our Keys to Reading program supports reading strategies, decoding skills and comprehension.

Numeracy & Maths

Practical maths sessions using a hands-on approach that ensures fundamental numeracy skills before moving to more complex problems. Builds confidence alongside capability.
Years 3, 5 & 6

NAPLAN & Exam Preparation

Workshops that build confidence and reduce test anxiety. Targeted preparation for NAPLAN and school exams — and scholarship preparation for gifted students looking to extend their abilities.

A ten-week program specifically designed to address the challenges students face when transitioning from primary to their first year of high school. Covers literacy, numeracy, organisation and study skills to ensure a confident, smooth transition.
Signature Program

Keys to Reading — How Words Work

Our signature program, Keys to Reading, is a structured, evidence-based approach to literacy that focuses on phonics, decoding, spelling and comprehension — all working together.
The program uses proven visualisation and verbalisation techniques for language comprehension to ensure students do not just read words, but truly understand what they are reading.

Keys to Reading has proven results with children who are making limited progress in reading and writing in their first years of school.
